Staff and their "partners" are being allowed free entry, according to a bulletin on the intranet. If only I had known prior to booking two tickets. Oh well, refund now being sought.

According to the LT Museum website i see that the '38 Stock is now booked to run passenger from Upminster to Ealing Broadway (reversing via HSt. Ken too!).
A date of Fri 4 September has been mentioned? Bookings available through Museum again?

i had word from someone yesterday that the depot will be open from 11.00 - 16.00 I can confirm that the times are actually 1100 till 1800, both days. Sorry, I'm confused. I've got three different sources saying three different times, the LT Museum website saying 11 to 4, another saying 11 to 5 and Colin saying 11 to 6. Can somebody please clarify which of these is correct?

With the METRO article on Monday stating 10am start (which a few thousand people may have read) it should lead to interesting scenes at the gate!

I had a call from the Museum, as I had ordered tickets, to confirm the 1100 start - the Metro advert was printed in error, and apparently some tickets have also got 1000 on them in error too.
As for the various finishing times, the only one that's really important is the last admission time - 1600.

Excellent! All in darkness! Hope the event goes well but it's unfortunate that there will be very few photo opportunities associated with it.

I understand that both the Q35 and R Stock went by road from Ealing to Upminster today. Certainly there was a lot of movement at the rear of The Depot at around 11.30.

The obvious viewpoint fot the "C" is Upminster looking down from the roadbridge. A public area off LU premises. Of course then there's the Met Police to worry about...
