Good news:
Aldgate East DMI TD's are now working.
Bad news:
The W/B DMI (at least) gives less advance warining than the old light-box one does.

R.I.P. Cannon Street's W/B light box describer.
I haven't worked there for a couple of weeks, but upon passing through last night, I noticed that the w/b now has a dot matrix indicator (same type as that on the e/b platform). I don't know why this is, nor why they bothered re-vamping the old one just to extend its life by a few months.

This may be old news by now, but I haven't seen any comments recently - the light box indicators on the WB DR and Picc, and EB Picc platforms at Barons Court were working when I passed through last Thursday evening (24th Feb).
