According to LU, ASLEF demands triple pay and a day off... Is it allowed to ask what drivers are paid now?

How comes? I was looking forward to hearing 'This is a H&C train to KXSP'.. chris, I've heard around 50k, though I am wrong rather a lot of the time. I am wrong.

That's a really well done map. It makes me wonder whether resource could be better used by stopping Met trains at Jubilee Line stations between Finchley Road and Wembley Park, running the Jubilee north of Wembley only and using the freed resource to operate a service onthe Canning Town-Canary Wharf-London Bridge section of the line. View is there is unlikely to be enough trains to operate a viable service on that section of the line.

Looks like London Overground are on strike too! No they aren't on strike. Like national rail they aren't running a service. I suppose we could get some RMT drivers to operate a service on the overground if necessary

Southern and Eurostar are the exceptions - they are running a limited service.

Slightly off thread so many apologies. But why do Southern operate their very limited service on the 26th where the rest of the Network in England doesn't operate. I can understand Eurostar running.

Just wait for the unions reactions when TfL ask Overground drivers to work boxing day! I expect those NR services that do operate, provide a good incentive for drivers to volunteer.
I imagine these services are based around where driving staff are and aren't expected to be turning up. So the reason you've got jubilee line trains between finchley road and stanmore is they expect enough driving staff to turn up at Neasden. The reason why theres no service around stratford/canning town would be that they don't expect enough staff to turn up to run a service that will be worth it...
While LU could try and move staff around... it would be costly in terms of taxis, and the greatest flexibility will be given by keeping trains and drivers near to their home depots. I expect also that staff will not want to be covering the duties of their striking colleagues, which is effectively is what's going to happen if you're asking a driver to operate out of a different depot to their usual one...

I assume LU's plans are part-influenced by the % of ASLEF drivers at each depot. They have this info as union subs are still deducted via the payroll and will thus be able determine which ASLEF T/OPs are rostered to work on 24/12.
Ironically I believe this is not possible during the more numerous RMT strikes, since LU banned them from collecting subs via the payroll in a fit of pique some years ago.
