Hi all, I am making a trip to London tomorrow, and was wondering if anybody knows if any of the battery locos are likely to be out and about, and if so, where ? I keep seeing them, but never seem to manage the illusive shot of them out on the line. Thanks in advance, Pete.

I found two once at Stratford, sitting there with a load of ballast, but that won't happen tomorrow! If you look at where the engineering works at happening that may help, but I have no clue other wise.

And almost certainly at Hammersmith H&C.

Possibly at Ealing Broadway. Regretfully no track work done between Ealing Broadway and Ealing Common, just small drainage works visable.

I never did get around to reading the trains part of the engineering document (only the possession boundaries). A few trains with battery locos did run at some point to test out the current rails in an area where cable theft took place near the possession.
