Heard about this a while back. Existing Virgin Media customers will be sent their log in details free of charge.

Haha. I've got Virgin Media broadband. Wonder if I go WS and be able to get a connection... But I have no login details...

Stations will come online over June. Whiteboard posters & signage in the ticket office will indicate when a station has gone live. I have a list at work.

TfL have issued a press release www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/newscentre/24177.aspxwhich has a list of stations including a new one called "Archway Euston" ;D

A surprising number on the list are above ground and out in the open. Obviously Wi-Fi means you're not using your data allowance, but I thought the point was to enable underground locations which currently have no access at all.....
On the plus side though, it's nice to see Tower Hill on list - we'll be able to access the net whilst changing ends (not that I have my phone on in the cab of course!).

As Covent Garden and Leicester Square are both on the list, will it be possible to maintain a WiFi connection while travelling between the two?

trt - Thanks! Too bad I've forgotten both my username and password.
flippyff - Haha, I doubt it! Would be cool though.
Quite happy to see Southfields on the list.

As Covent Garden and Leicester Square are both on the list, will it be possible to maintain a WiFi connection while travelling between the two? If the SSID's are the same: Sure, wouldn't be an issue.
