Uzair you need to contact VM and ask them about it and theyll send you details... I'm with them too..50mb internet! Not great on some days though!

Stations will come online over June. Whiteboard posters & signage in the ticket office will indicate when a station has gone live. I have a list at work.

TfL have issued a press release

I have 60mb. Apparently they don't have 50mb - that's what I was told. And yes, couldn't agree more, on some days the speeds are abysmal.

A surprising number on the list are above ground and out in the open. Obviously Wi-Fi means you're not using your data allowance, but I thought the point was to enable underground locations which currently have no access at all.....

On the plus side though, it's nice to see Tower Hill on list - we'll be able to access the net whilst changing ends (not that I have my phone on in the cab of course!).

And I further note from reading the sub standard this evening that its all a bit of a con.

Its free from installation until November, and during that time there'll be full access to the whole internet.

From November onwards users will only be able to access travel alerts, news & other basic stuff for free - so you can access the same information you are reading in a newspaper, viewing on the platform dot matrix or are being subjected to in the form of service updates over the PA system

If you want more access than that you'll have to pay for it!! Virgin customers can have the "service" added to their monthly bills; others will be able to "pay as they go". You would have thought that there would at least be an incentive for being a current Virgin customer (ie, a discount or free access).

I already pay Virgin for internet access both at home and on my mobile - I ain't paying them a third time!! Oh well, I thought it was too good to be true and it is
