This morning I was waiting for a train to Watford at Headstone Lane, when it was announced that the next southbound train was running late. A few minutes later, and a couple of minutes before the Watford train arrived, the southbound train arrived, very slowly, and stopped short of the platform with the cab under the road bridge. There was a small dog trotting along in front of the train! The dog trotted on by the track, beneath the platform edge, to the other end of the platform and disappeared into the undergrowth between the DC lines and the main line, after which the train ran into the platform. My train arrived immediately afterwards, so I didn't see what happened next.
