Sadly this is the day of my model railway club's annual show, so I shall see you all on December 12th. (At least, hoping it's being kept as second Saturday as I've already blocked out that day in the diary!)

Will try and get there, unfortunately the NHS have just cancelled my operation that I was meant to have on Thursday yet again by a week, so if I get carted in on the 17th, I will be stored unservicable for the weekend.

If you have been incarcerated at Her Majesty's NHS pleasure don't worry... we want you well enough so you can be at the Xmas social...

My apologies I am going to have to bail out on this one due to a family commitment, however I will be on the S Stock Special to Amersham and Watford and attending the DD Christmas get together as usual.

To anyone who isn't aware. Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September is Open House Weekend And because of this, what time will this meet end? I wouldn't mind joining after Open House on the Saturday.. which'll probably be finishing around 6.

Love the LU map motherboard BTW vinnieloRe the meet... its a bit like how long is a piece of string... or to give it an IT spin... how much memory is available... Speaking personally, I need to head off around 4:30-5pm as I have a dinner party to get home/sober up/get ready for ... the way we roll is that members are welcome to pop in/leave as they need/please during the day. I'll get the meet phone number up here this evening if I can, so that members can phone should they want more live info, although I'm sure that we can post updates on the forum of who's around... Re the Rugby World Cup, there are no Twickenham games until the evening, so there should be any issues getting the the pub until the evening... potentially

Thanks. I'll keep my eye on the board for any updates during the course of the day. Love your photos. Oh, and no, it's not a motherboard: it's a radio!

Earl's Court station and lines approaching are likely to be busy around midday as Chelsea v. Arsenal 1245 kickoff.

However its not quite as much fun as watching THIS WALLY BRAIN lose... again , especially after how appallingly he treated his own medical staff !!! All he needed to say was ' I'm sorry, I made a mistake'... however sadly, IMO, he's not man enough though...

I'm arriving into Euston about 1100, thence by tube and UndergrounD to the City Barge.

In over 7 years of being a member (mostly a lurker, admittedly) I haven't yet been to a forum meet. I still haven't made my mind up about Saturday.

If you were to come, don't feel like you have to stay for hours and hours. Of all the socials that I've been at there have always been people nipping in and out; you'd be most welcome to join in for as long as you feel comfortable to.

Based on a couple of comments, I've produced a quiz in a different this time. There are 30 unmodified single part images, each showing a sign at a station currently served by 1 or more TfL lines/services. Some are more difficult than others I predict, but they have been arranged in a mostly random order.
My current thinking is to release 3 images every half hour but if anyone comments before about 11pm this evening I'll take that into consideration before programming the online release schedule (which will be the same as the one at the meet for those unable to get there in person).
I don't know how it will go, so feedback on how you like it compared to the usual many part question will be appreciated.

Regretably I will be unable to attend as it clashes with the Shenfield show.

As much as I would have loved to attend the meet and finally meet you all and put faces to names, I fear that I will be in the middle of a mad rush to finish packing all of my kit for the move up to Nottingham the next day
