I feel sure these videos of the November 1990 Centenary railtour and Morden depot open day will be of interest.
The Centenary railtour was on the 1959 tube stock train which had been painted in 1923 heritage livery. This film was only published this morning, 12th February 2017. The other films were made a few years ago.
November 1990 Northern Line Centenary Railtour As the cover image suggests, to make it easier to see features along the line the train stopped in the tunnel and the lights were switched off. People inside the train had powerful lights which they used to illuminate the tunnel wall / whatever it was we were being shown.
I hope that I have all my facts correct!
This film was taken at Morden Depot open day and includes many different types of tube train. Obviously there were no subsurface trains!!!
Cab ride on the 1938 tube train which shuttled between the station and the depot
A look at Morden station plus mostly silver tube trains
A short film focussed on the red liveried 1938 and 1959 Heritage tube stock trains
Enjoy!

re: the railtour film, I only videotaped parts of the tour - it was too long to film it all. A part where I did record a longish sequence was during the journey north from East Finchley, when the commentator (this was via the public address system) was explaining a little of the line's history. For my YouTube film I used the Beno metromapcreator and photoshop to create a map which is seen as an overlay. This took the best part of a day! I'm showing this map below. I had to publish it on my own website as although its also on Flickr there is no 'share' button. btw: the Beno metromapcreator is great for getting curves and adding stations as dots, but not as ticks. Also, it does not make right-angle curves, so I had to fabricate this out of several other curves. Simon
