Just a couple of old clips with some memory jerkers for those who remember the 80s.
A clip about fare rises showing the old ticket machines, a huge ticket office queue (at Warren St I think) and several old RMs and DMSs on the buses.
A rather mixed up clip showing Waterloo in the aftermath of the Clapham Train crash then Bob Bayman (remember him!?) being berated by a Northern Line users then a clip of Coburg St control room then a montage taken at Clapham North with lots of 1959 stock action. It's 22 mins long so you might want to skip to the bit that interests you.
A clip about possible fare rises by LRT in the early 1990s. Including A stock and 72 stock at Wembley Park and buses at Shepherds Bush.

Sentimental memories of the old ticket machines, great-when they worked.
Loved the 1980's clip, even the men were wearing Dierdre Barlow glasses, sure was the decade fashion forgot.
Makes you wonder what the reaction from the punters in these would have been if you'd been able to show them Oystercard & the future.
