Grenfell Memorial, I think, would just about pass. But would that mutate to just Grenfell? Who knows? It would quite likely mutate to either "Grenfell" or "Memorial" in local usage, many (but not all) stations with long names get simplified in this way - for example, take the train to "Canary" is something I've heard on multiple occasions, "King's Cross" is not uncommonly referred to as "The Cross", Oxford Circus does get called "Oxo" and the third word of "High Street Kensington" is used significantly less than the first two. In contrast though I'm not aware that Leicester Square, Island Gardens, White City, or Bromley-by-Bow get shortened. Of course Bromley-By-Bow was simply called Bromley until the late 60's, so there may still be those who refer to it as that.

One of the problems we have in our 24 hr rolling news society, is that things are easily forgotten. I read the news but I have seen hardly any updates, as for the children I teach (in London), Grenfell is about as important an event as 9/11, the Falklands war, etc. it is passing out of consciousness.
As for trying to bring change to prevent the almost unique set of circumstances that caused the loss of life in the Grenfell tower... well we have not seen very much action. One day we may see a report / conclusions of the enquiry, and this should read very much like a railway accident report. On the surface the circumstances of Grenfell appears very similar to the recent Wimbledon derailment, everybody thought they were following the rules, but nobody knows why there were two different boundaries. Sadly I don't think we are going to see a report in the style of a railway accident report because I would like to see all sorts of issues addressed (but this is off topic).
As for changes to the systems in the wake of Grenfell... hmm ones I would have liked to have seen addressed by now,
1. The standard advice of the fire brigade that it is safer to stay in your flat, is this fit for purpose? 2. Is not having a separate fire escape now an unacceptable risk? 3. Why do these style of blocks have an alarming number of firedoors missing? 4. Why did the dry riser not work, do they test them? 5. How do we fit sprinklers and avoid everybody having their flat flooded if someone burns the toast 6. How do we fit a working fire alarm that will not cause everybody to want to use the narrow and only staircase at the same time?
and two other major long term problems, 7. Building regulations, do we really have a system that the council is inspecting it's own work? where are the checks and balances. 8. How does the environmental legislation on energy efficiency (insulation) effect the fire safety legislation, and how do we test or even balance these two needs? 9. Does anyone know the difference between fire retardant, fire proof, incombustible, inflammable and combustable?

Can we please stick to discussing the possible station renaming as per the thread title. There are a lot of unresolved issues regarding the actual fire, but this thread isn’t the place for that.
