The picture background looks like beehives - not the things that insects lurk & make honey in but the sort of things that people make and store explosives in - with wooden doors so that the blast [if it all goes TU] can easily escape and be channelled.
I would say that it is/was an ammunition factory somewhere in Britain.

Given the "serrated wall" - could this be a defensive castle wall with these beehives being ammunition bunkers. Somewhere like Dover Castle would fit the bill perhaps.

They are ammunition bunkers, but the venue isn't as old as Dover Castle.

The brickwork strikes me as having a victorian feel to it - Could it be at one of the anti-French invasion forts dotted around the south coast otherwise known as Palmerston's Follies?
