One of the benefits of part of the quiz team being in Canada is that Chris and I don't need to stay up late anymore to post it!

Location A is (I think) the ELL bridge over the approach to Liverpool Street.

Between you you you have all the locations and the background. You’re on the right track with Crossrail/TfL for the link but we’re looking for a little more. C isn’t the odd one out. Todays quiz seems to have a TfL Rail/Elizabeth line theme to it: A is where the ELL crosses the approach to Liverpool Street B is Romford C is the tunnel portal to the west of Custom House D is the approach to Paddington C is the odd one out as it is not yet open while the others are all currently served by TfL Rail. Answer: Location A: Between Bethnal Green (LO) and Liverpool Street and between Shoreditch High Street and Whitechapel - view west from Three Colts Lane overbridge [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location B: Romford Junction - view from footbridge between Victoria Road and Junction Road [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location C: Between Custom House and Royal Victoria or Connaught Tunnel - DLR and crossrail in January 2017 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location D: Between Paddington (H&C) or Paddington (mainline) and Royal Oak - Westbourne Terrace bridge from by Paddington Novotel in June 2012 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Background: Bridge from Canada Square to Crossrail Place Shopping Centre, Canary Wharf [ Deep Level ] (click for a larger version)

Is A the odd one out, because when the core opens it wont be part of Crossrail ?

The odd one out is not related to what happens in the future

How about: These are all places where Crossrail/TfL Rail travels alongside other TfL services. A is the odd one out as there is a separate TfL service that crosses over it.

Odd one out: Location A - Crossrail crosses the Overground here, at the other locations it runs parallel to other TfL services.
