For those friends of the Inner Circle, Charles Lee offered this interesting 1943 insight into its two larger cousins including point-to-point times courtesy of Bradshaw's. I've seen the routes before but never a timetable. Other obscure services also covered.

WARNING: Timetable geekery.... A very interesting comment in there about the reduction in services on the City Widened Lines in January 1915. When time permits I'll have a look at my Widened Lines TT from July 1915 and compare it with the Bradshaws. [1] The CWL is 'just off my radar' in terms of interest, but having spent part of my evening sorting out the CWL part of the sub-surface TTs I'm minded to do a bit of digging. [1] fear not - I don't have a collection of Bradshaws - but to paraphrase the old AA advert: I know a man who does.
