The main pic looks to have the lightweight headspans of the GW main Line - so between Old Oak and Acton Main Line perhaps

Inset 4 is Osterley Park, Inset 1 is the siege of Malta Monument, Inset 2 is Newtown Town Hall on the IoW.

I thought that it might be the new Picc Line stock on the Krefeld test track but there is some tattiness around the door area so unlikely to be a brand new train. I think that is a recolourised class 710 Overground EMU [orange replaced by red]

Could D be the odd one out because it is in a tunnel and also, all the other stations have bay platforms.

Stuartroy's considered link is perfectly reasonable. Whilst it is evidently not what is written on the card, there comes a point where there is no shame in not being a mind reader or telepath. This situation arises occasionally and it does seem that giving the author of a valid answer [even if not the one on the card] is worth at least half a point.

I though B was Mile End - the platform doesn't seem wide enough to be one of the Newbury park loop stations

The OLE looks like the heavyweight stuff on the GWML. I think it might be Maidenhead.

Well, Network rail hasn't installed OLE in any stations in SE13 so somewhere on the joint LT/LT&SR I think- Barking perhaps?

The domed building in location A looks like Old College at RMA Sandhurst with the gateway flying the RAF pennant looking like RAF Uxbridge. The patch of water in location C looks rather like Studland Bay down by Poole.

The link would appear to be that all these stations are having strctural work done to them with presumably alterations to their normal passenger routes in and out.
