It has come to the attention of the forum staff that certain members have been identifying London Underground drivers and asking for cab rides.
This practice must cease immediately.
London Underground drivers are not permitted to allow members of the public in their cabs - to do so would see them face very serious discipline consequences.
For that reason, the forum staff will not tolerate such behaviour - any member found to be acting in such a manner will have their account suspended without warning.

It would seem a reminder is in order regarding the subject of cab rides, and in particular gaining access to train cabs for the purpose of.
The forum staff would like to remind members that train cabs are a safety critical environment and that access to them is strictly controlled. The same applies to other safety critical environments such as signal cabins and line control rooms.
This forum should not be used as a means to arrange access to such environments be it by PM (rule 3e) or in a public post. LU/TfL has official points of contact and they should be used in all cases.

It has come to the attention of the Forum Administrators that some people are lacking in basic common sense.
We will not tolerate members using the PM (Private Message) system to approach members of LU staff requesting access to non public areas. This includes trains that are not in public service.
Any member found to be doing so will have their account suspended as referred to above. You have been warned.
