In the 1990 edition of 'London Underground Rolling Stock', it says that 25 B90 stock units, 21 B92s and 14 B92As were ordered. The order must have changed at some point, as the DLR has 23 B90s and 47 B92s.
What would have been the difference between B92s and B92As?
25 B90s, 21 B92s and 14 B92As would only have been 60 units and not 70. I read that at one point the DLR was going to keep the P89s. Did the change to the order got anything to do with the decision to sell the P89s?
