Does anyone know what the opening dates for the following stations were: Belsize Park Chalk Farm Chiswick Park Kensington Olympia
If mainline and LU (or predecesoor) services started on different dates, knowin both would be ideal.
Thanks Chris

Thanks Chris No offence, but I'm curious as to why you would want to know about the opening dates of a random list of stations, they seem to have no link to each other, please enlighten me?

I'll double check the Northern Line ones at CULG but I'm 90% certain I couldn't work out the DR ones from there. I've been reworking Wikipedia's List of London Underground stations from a straightforward list to a more organised table to include the opening date(s) and any previous names for the station (see here). I've finally completed it now and these are the only stations I haven't got an opening date for - that is the only connection between them.

Your list appears to only show stations that are currently in use and existing railway services. For this reason, I referred to the dates of the current District Line service to Kensington (Olympia). However, as Q8 quite rightly stated in an incoming signal, there was an earlier service to the station which connected up with the H&C and which was withdrawn in 1940. This means that the Underground did arrive there at a much earlier date, although not the current service that we have. I am not sure of the format for including this data in your table.

Cheers for the dates. I've been using the earlierst time the Underground served the stations, e.g. 1902 for some of the stations out east that were served 1902-5 pre electrification and then not until the electrification arrived (1920s or 30s, I forget).
