...hopefully forever! My Train Operator training starts on Monday 12th February. It was a strange feeling, doing my last stint on the gateline this morning. I think I will miss some aspects of the job - chatting to some of the locals and regulars, the PCSOs that frequent the station and the banter with most of my colleagues. I'll miss the interaction with all those people. On the other hand... No more rude, belligerent customers to put up with!! Woohoo! (I hope). Working directly with the public sucks, big style. I am happy and, if the truth be told, just a little sad that I am leaving my role as a CSA. Mixed feelings really. Never thought I would say that about the CSA's job, that's for sure. Onward and upward

I used the "Onward and upward" title in my personal update thread when I joined the ranks of the control room operators. Best of luck! East Finchley is it?

EF was my preferred depot so that was a result. I know the guys (and girls!) there already and it's the most convenient depot for me to get to.
