I assume with the Sunday Service there will also be an extension of evening service as well.

Can you actually get a main line train from Waterloo beyond 0200 or 0100?

Not sure what you're implying? This already happens on Saturdays.

Can you actually get a main line train from Waterloo beyond 0200 or 0100? On the morning of the 28th which is the day after the opening ceremony, Departures of waterloo after 00.00 are: 00.05 Portsmouth 00.09 Guildford 00.15 Guildford 00.18 Kingston 00.20 Alton 00.27 Guildford 00.30 Bournemouth 00.42 Strawberry hill 01.48 staines 01.50 Portsmouth 01.55 southampton 02.20 southampton And that is common on most days.

Not sure what you're implying? This already happens on Saturdays. I think it's because a train arrives at 0805 but departs at 0802. There is of course a train stabled at Bank overnight.

On the morning of the 28th which is the day after the opening ceremony, Departures of waterloo after 00.00 are: 02.20 southampton So the last train to leave the mainline Waterloo is at exactly the same time as the last train from Bank arrives at Waterloo. And the shifts end about 15-30 minutes after the station closes when the last service is done, yes? So what about staff who need to use a mainline train to get home? I'm asking as it seems the Euston service hasn't been too brilliantly co-ordinated with the London Midland service. Both have extended their operating hours, but whereas usually the last train leaves a reasonable time after the LUL shift ends, during the Olympics, it leaves a few minutes before the shift ends.

T203 leaves Bank pfm 7 at 0802¼; T201 arrives Bank pfm 8 at 0804½ and leaves at 0807¼. T203 is the Bank stabler, T201 is 0758 off Waterloo Depot.
