Currently the Met has severe delays due to an earlier faulty train at King's Cross, yet all the other SSR lines are shown as having a Good Service. Is this really true, or are the H&C and Circle also disrupted? I could understand it if the problem had been north of Baker Street, but how can something as disruptive as to cause severe delays to the entire Met happen at King's Cross without affecting at least the other lines that share those tracks?

It could be true as there can be a lag on Met city trains recovering as they generally reverse at Wembley/Harrow during disruption leaving the city area clearer to permit a quicker service recovery, whereas the C&H can recover quicker through Moorgate reversers and running through circles at Edgware Road.

Simple: politics. In particular the desire to broadcast a good service as much as possible, even if not accurate.

Several incidents on the Met at the same time didn't help but the original fault which started this was a S8 only drive able in restricted manual to Neasden.

Severe delays on the Met because, at one time, there was nothing south of Neasden depot and everything was going northbound.
Utter carnage.
