When I passed through Bank station on Sunday (10 March) I heard the line status announcement. Included in this was severe delays to the District and H&C due to a signal failure at Barking. Additionally the District line was not stopping at Gloucester Road due to "unforeseen circumstances". There was no mention at all of either the signal failure or the unforeseen circumstances were affecting the Circle line though, which seems unusual.
Is anyone able to shed any light on what these circumstances were?

Around 0915 a glass panel in the station came loose and fell onto one of the Circle/District platforms. Initially District & Circle trains were non-stopped but Piccadilly Line trains continued to stop. At 10.05 the station was fully closed.
