Afternoon All - Having spent a little while planning it I will soon be starting work on my 4mm/ft Scale model of the approaches to Lillie Bridge Depot's 1905 Carriage Shed and the old steam shed. I'm envisaging the period for the model itself being based between 1940 and 1971, though I think stock will be appearing from the early 1930s as well (Some interesting things like the final ex-District Beyer Peacocks were still kicking around) so any details from this period (including telling me that I can't actually cover that period with one trackplan, set of buildings and signalling!!!) would be very greatly appreciated. Anyone interested in the layout itself can find it here - www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/144540-lillie-bridge-a-micro-layout-project-in-00/As this is an LT Forum I shall stick to the LT side of things rather than the model making side. Of course, it has just occurred to me that I may be about to post this in the wrong place - I am happy to be moved, or to move myself, if needs be.
