1938 Stock trips on the Piccadilly Line 25 & 26 April

The 1938 Stock will be running on the Heathrow Branch of the Piccadilly Line 25 & 26 April. The trips start at Northfields and go to Heathrow T5 before returning. Trips 1 & 3 on both days continue to Acton Town.

Tickets are now on sale via the LT Museum website. It will be going via Heathrow T4 instead of via Heathrow T5.

A very late post, but London Transport Museum, like all events leading up to 31 May, has cancelled the running. Hopefully when the current situation goes away soon, I suspect there might be another date put forward for the 1938TS tour.

Alas but this cancellation was not unexpected. Nevertheless many intending passengers will be disappointed - I travelled on one of these tours last year and was going to give this one a miss so that other people could have a ride.

I often travelled on these during my schoolboy days, have many happy memories - including noting how much easier it was for me to fit the closely spaced transverse seats than many adults!

I hope that the LT Museum will be able to run replacement tour(s) at a future date.
