Is it as simple as they're all on the District line except for Hanger Lane (although the District passes through Hanger Lane Junction).

Yes and no - you have the odd one out (Hanger Lane - all the others are served by the District line) but there is something else that links all four stations.

They are all the first station in Zone 3 after a Zone 2/3 station.
