Not sure about location A, but here’s my thought process for location B.
It’s on a viaduct, and those railings look like the railings you get on the bit of DLR between Tower Gateway and Poplar on the old brick viaduct. It’s only 2 tracks (unless the image is reversed and cropped) which narrows it down to between Limehouse and Poplar.
Between Westferry and Poplar the track runs along the main road, so, making the guess that I am right in thinking it’s on the DLR in the first place, I’m going to say it’s between Westferry and Limehouse, and probably closer to Westferry than Limehouse.

B - agree Westferry, looking in direction of Limehouse, St Anne's Church Limehouse in the background.
