I believe B is Stonebridge Park, so I think "Park" is part of the link. But there are so many "Park" stations on the tube there must be more to it than that.
I'll go for the B inset too - Battersea Park, Carriage Drive West.

A is Queen's Park, +1 for Upton Park. Based on other people's answers, I think this is supposed to be a sequence of Parks starting with consecutive letters with R missing (Q, S, T, U). That would make the missing station Ravenscourt Park.

Inset C looks like it was taken from somewhere around West Silvertown but there's been so much change in development there it's difficult to place.

Lyle Park is the only place I can think of round there, I didn't know there was a football pitch!

Lyle Park is the only place I can think of round there, I didn't know there was a football pitch! There was when I took this photo in 2016! I don't think I've been back since, but Newham's website says there is a football pitch with changing rooms.

The tip to the north has gone and the view changed quite considerably since then - the buildings to the east of the park have been demolished pending regeneration. I don't believe there are currently changing rooms or goal posts but it's a while since I've walked that way, shall have to investigate at some point!
