Last year's Christmas social was cancelled. This year, there is a possibility that a meet-up could be arranged, but only if there is demand!
Date would be Saturday, December 11th, 2pm at the Penderel's Oak, Holborn.
If you would like to come along, please RSVP here; we will try to reserve a table of suitable size.

Following the expressions of interest in the thread so far a table for 12 has been reserved in the Penderel's Oak from 2pm on December 11th.

I have almost finished preparing a bonus quiz for the social - I have one photograph I need to take tomorrow. I am looking at quotes for printing, the local library took nearly 2 hours last time and want 35p/sheet which as there are 39 question images and we'll want probably 4-5 answer sheets adds up quickly! If anyone knows of a good deal, then please get in touch! I've just been on the Wetherspoons website to try to answer this question for certain, but haven't been able to. Are they still taking cash or card payments at the bar, or do we need to download an app prior to the day? There was no issue paying at the bar with a card when I was there last month. |
