How frequently do trains booked for Ealing Broadway leave from Epping, because when I spoke to the driver of train 001 (see the thread a few posts down from this), he said that they mostly go to Ruislip from Epping......
Typically, on a Saturday, whats the frequency of an Ealing train from Epping?

No - I meant the other time I saw him (in my previous thread) - haven't had contact with him since. I've just found out that trains from Epping go to W Ruislip, and trains from Hainault go to Ealing  |

IIRC, the journey from WER to EPP is the longest possible by tube without a change.

IIRC, the journey from WER to EPP is the longest possible by tube without a change. It is the longest distance (34.1 miles I think) but as for scheduled running times I think Cockfosters - Uxbridge may be a couple of mins longer. |

You will find most trains run from Epping to West Ruilslip - excepting peak hours. Trains from Debden or Loughton normally reverse at White City or North Acton.
Without looking at the timetable - very few trains run from Epping to Ealing Broadway at the weekend.

So there seems an obvious need for passsengers to be sent forward by the first train
