I believe somebody posted about a month ago that the 'C' Stock in Back The Bid London 2012 livery was going to have its vinyls removed and put back into corporate red, white & blue LUL livery. (like the 96TS had on the Jubilee) Either I'm going mad and seeing things or did a C stock in Back The Bid livery pull into Victoria on an Outer Rail Circle Line service on Thursday evening? ;D chrisjolly.sphosting.com/C_DMC_2012_5532_VIC.jpg |

Indeed, it is running around in service again, still in the BTB livery!
It was taken out of service the other night as one of the motors weren't working!

Bearing in mind that it was removed from service on the 1st July, with the intention of having the livery changed, which I believe would have taken approx 1-2 months (no - I have no idea why it takes so long - possibly the anti-grafitti paint takes that long to dry  ) Then the events of 7/7 meant that the H&C were short of trains, so the train was returned to Hammersmith and is now back in service. |

I thought these days they didn't bother using paint but used stickers instead. Surely then it's just a matter of peeling them off overnight?

I'm not 100% on the BtB C stock, as the closest I've been is to see it going in the opposite direction to me, but in the case of the refurbed D stock they have gone back to painting the trains, rather than applying Vinyls. |

The BTB trains are vinyls. I remember commenting when I first saw one, how you could see the joins and I noticed at least one which had been applied on the squew.
