Just a quickie: I've always wondered why the (disused) train indicator board located just inside the barriers by the station assistant's box appears to allow either platform to show an Uxbridge branch train? As far as I can see there is no wrong road starter or crossover from the eastbound platform onto the west, so how could they run an Uxbridge train from there? Many thanks.

Possibly wrong road to Rayners Lane, theres a x-over just before the Met and Pic converge into one and enter the platform.

There was a crossover by the connection to South Harrow Gasworks.

Thanks folks. The connection to South Harrow gasworks? Is that the bit of viaduct that stops dead on the left of the track when coming from Rayners? Always wondered what that used to be!
