Have any substantive plans (other than "OMG TOO MANY PEOPLES CLOSE IT") been made to upgrade the passenger capacity of Holloway Road station, which now lies a goalie kick from the New Highbury Stadium?

Afaik, LU are hoping! that the crowds will be shared between Holloway Road, Highbury and Islington and Finsbury Park.

But not Drayton Park, which no one seems to have the slightest bit of interest in upgrading, despite the huge benefits it would bring to the area in day-to-day usage and when Arsenal play at home.
How could Holloway Road be upgraded though? You could always add more lifts, but that wouldn't help on match days.

They have built that walkway/bridge thing to connect the ground to Drayton Park station, odd as there are no trains serving it on a saturday. Midweek games, might be useful. What are the chances of the station getting so busy, not just for the footy, but in general, and they do an Angel style reconstruction?

I have always said, why not upgrade Drayton Park, seems as it is more or less under one of the terraces... I wonder if WAGN or the current operators will run a weekend service, should this come about? Whatever happens, I hope they keep what heritage is left at Holloway... They could make use of the old passageways to the old Reno spiral lift.... cost would be minimal, because the shafts and passageways still exist, but may require a bit of cleaning...

I know in the last few years the Moorgate branch now closes at 2200 than the previous 2030. Not much demand after 2200, understandable given that its mainly offices round there.

UTS would need to be installed in the old exit area at Holloway Road to prevent fare evasion. There is space for two more lifts where the double-spiral escalator was.

To be quite honest, all the stations need an upgrade of some sort. There are 60,000 supporters spilling out after the games, and given the parking problems in the area, they need somewhere to go.
I have hinted before that The Picc used to be able to cope with this volume, so why the problems now?
I still use Arsenal Tube, which quite simply isn't big enough to cope.
Just as a matter of interest, how many trains are running per hour at this sort of time? And could the system cope with more?
