There has been a short notice closure of the Northern Line in the pipeline, to allow work on Kennington points. This has been on the cards for a few months, and I believe is now going ahead on Sunday 19th November.
Originally that day was a Camden - East Finchley closure, and thats still going ahead, so the Northern Line will be operating a very wierd service that day (OK, so maybe it does that most days!)
Its basically no service between Camden Town - East Finchley, and no service between Moorgate - Stockwell. All the trains that go down the CX branch can go all the way to Kennington and will just all reverse via Kennington Loop.
I don't know the exact frequencies, but I'm sure its going to be much less than the normal Camden - East Finchley closure timetable, and will most likely work alot better. I don't think they were able to issue a duty sheet in time, so resourcing this new short notice timetable will cause some disruption. Plus the two closures will be very difficult to communicate to passengers easily.

But this closure means that the track bashers will be busy in the Moorgate area ;D
I would be surprised if Edgware - Camden - Charing Cross - Kennington ran any more than 12tph. Likewise, if Camden - Moorgate and Stockwell - Morden run more than 12tph I'll be amazed.
Where's central-simon!

Camden - Moorgate will be severly reduced to 6 TPH - all this combines to 18 TPH running to/from Edgware. And unfortunately, the Stockwell - Morden shuttle is 6 TPH only! If there was sufficient time to compile the timetable, then they could have doubled that frequency by planning in reversing operators at Stockwell - speeding up the reversing there, but because of the short notice nature, that couldn't be done.
