I know Piccadilly drivers think the District Line runs to a calendar, but it seems to be the DLR that actually does at the moment.
Never mind the problems past Elverson Road, I was (as is my usual at the moment) waiting at Bank for a train - all trains from there are to Lewisham at peak times at the moment, with the King George V services running from Tower Gateway and the Beckton services running from Poplar.
The time shown for the next train on the describer seemed to get longer and longer, then shorten slightly with a couple of 2 minute jumps. There seemed to be a longer than expected gap between trains. This caused the platform to get extremely crowded. Likewise the train when it arrived. I then had to wait for a George at Shadwell - the describer there showed a George first, replaced by a Lewisham and the George then came after it.
Unless, of course, this was somehow "knock on" from the signal failure approaching Lewisham, this is looking like they threw the timetable out of the window.

The DLR has always been reliable and frequent when I've used it, except for the time several years ago when a trains failed, and all trains were running in manual.

the describer there showed a George first, replaced by a Lewisham and the George then came after it. I got cought out by this earlier in the week - I think it was Wednesday. Was coming back from the datacentre near South Quay and watched a Stratford train 'overtake' a Bank on the board. Thought it was unusual, but put it down to a train entering service at Crossaharbour and thought nothing more of it. Until my train took a left turn after West India Quay. Looked up and the in car dot matrix did say Bank. The DLR is usually so reliable you don't usually need to check these things! About 20 people did follow me changing sides at Westferry so I guess wasn't the only one caught out.

Did that train have its DVA switched off then?
