Platform repeater at Wood Lane (H&C), the first anniversary of it opening? Second that. Wood Lane WB, Platform Repeater for A110. And the Green is where the Yellow should be!

One can't help wondering who signed that off! The railway isn't what it used to be, having said that the installation standards have been falling by the wayside for a number of years.

If the LED head is anything like the main line ones it will be capable of showing red, yellow and green aspects in the same 'lens'.

The photo has been 'doctored'; it's the right way around on site.
LU does not permit multiple aspects to be displayed through one head.

I wonder why? They're becoming standard on the main line! What do LT know that we should..... Nothing. We're just cautiously catching up. To give 2 examples, in the last 10 or so years we've installed "new" points but they're actually of a sort NR used years ago and adopted certain "new" procedures that NR basically adopted years ago. I'll go for Wood Lane too. A year open and yet it's been literally weeks since everything was working more or less as it should there. First new station for however many years it was, but longest ever to actually open and then become "completed" ;D

That was a trial - there were some issues with it, hence the adoption of the Westinghouse head at Wood Lane.
