I noticed the new Met line diagrams too. They seem to have the same thickness of line as the full width line diagrams, so that stations feel very crowded together. This is unlike the Circle & H&C and the District line small line diagrams, which have a thinner line than the full-width diagrams. (Not that it would work for those lines).

Hoover building/Tesco Perivale for the inset +1 for the inset. I used to live close to it.

South Wimbledon is one stop from the final station, Stratford High Street two stops.. are the others 3 and 4 stops from the terminus?

If you look at the other end of that line diagram, where the Overground OSIs are mentioned, it refers to "London Overground".

I always cringe a bit at Baker Street: "All doors on this car will not open" It takes me a moment to parse the meaning. "No doors on this car will open" or "All doors on this car will stay closed" would would quicker for me to understand.

I saw mention on a thread about the Bank closure about Metropolitan line diagrams not yet showing the Elizabeth line interchange. I travelled on the Met a couple of times this week and there were new diagrams with the Elizabeth line interchange showing on the bigger diagrams, but not the ones over the doors or by the end of the cars: those still had the older version of the diagrams.

I was on the Picc tonight and after leaving Knightsbridge it merrily announced that the next station was South Ken. It wasn't as we went through without stopping.

That looks like a former Great Eastern station to me. Somewhere on the Central line.

It looks like a Central line train, possibly near the A40 just on the Acton side of White City.

The link is probably Charles Holden. I agree, I think that we must have posted the same thought at about the same time.

I think it's Goodge Street. I knew that the tiles looked familiar. I have used the lifts at both Earl's Court and Goodge Street many times.

The inset is Valentines Park, the nearest underground station is Gants Hill, but the clock tower is probably nearer to Ilford station.

For some reason Waterloo (Waterloo and City) springs to mind, though I am probably wrong! It does have that sort of vibe. (I am currently reading John C Gillham's The Waterloo & City Railway, a book over 400 pages long).

What an excellent find. As well as Finchley Road, it is interesting to see so many sections of the overground included. What really caught my eye was the junctions just to the west of Turnham Green.

D29 bridge Hanger Lane junction, overlooking Ellen Wilkinson school. This was my initial guess as well. Bridge over GWR +1

It looks like somewhere in East London. Is it from the Overground just to the east of Hackney Central?

Is Ilford the only one historically in Essex, the others all being in the historic county of Middlesex.
