Euston Square has been shown as a short walk to the mainline blob at Euston since walk lines were introduced in May 2018, the OSI with Warren Street has never been shown on the map.
The layout of the blobs at Euston (LU) has not changed since July 2022.

There was a closure of Paddington (Bakerloo) for fore alarm testing and integration not so long back, suggesting that work on the new ticket hall there must be pretty far advanced. I'm not sure though how dependent on the wider development opening of either the ticket hall generally and/or step-free access specifically is.

Could they borrow some shoebeams from Jubilee line trains? That would depend on the availability of spares for the Jubilee line, and the compatibility between the fleets. It seems likely to me that if they are compatible then the same problems with availability of parts will impact both fleets. There is no benefit in fixing the problem on the Northern line by moving the problem to a different line.

Can they not temporarily sacrifice one train and use its shoebeams to keep the others going? That might depend on what the specific issue with the shoebeam is and how interchangeable shoebeams are between different parts of the car - looking at photos it appears that the front and rear shoebeams on the leading car are not identical, so there are potentially up to four different designs on a single car (I have no idea if this is the case). If the damage is always to the same beam then a single train isn't that useful as a donor.

A southbound train was in the platform during most of this incident, but it is not stated whether it remained there due to any particular procedure or coincidence that the power was discharged before it could depart. One thing that was only mentioned in passing, and surprisingly to me not discussed further, was the annual refresher training being cut from four days to just one day. Learnings from the Holland Park incident were one thing that was dropped, but what other knowledge is no longer being passed on to operational staff?

It's the only digital one I can recall seeing, and I've seen at least the majority of digital versions (see www.sucs.org/~cmckenna/maps/tube/ ). However if there have been previous similar mistakes that were quickly resolved it's not guaranteed that they will have been preserved somewhere I have found.

Are HSTs really comfortable for journeys of four miles end-to-end with two intermediate stops? They're intercity trains designed for long journeys with 2-10 minute stops at each station, there is no way they could keep to a timetable designed for 710s even if they fit.

And major engineering work is typically planned much further in advance than football matches are.

Location A - High Barnet station - from end of platform walkway. Location A: High Barnet - platform 1 buffers and overrun [Chris M] (click for a larger version) I'll take a punt on Edgware for B. location B - West Ruislip station - Ticket Hall Location B: West Ruislip - ticket hall in April 2024 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location C looks like Walthamstow Central C is a subsurface (district line?) train viewed through the inter-carriage barriers of an adjacent central line train. (The ‘sharks teeth’ that passengers climbed out on in the Holland Park incident). Could this be Ealing Broadway? Location C - Ealing Broadway station from Central line platform between intercar barriers at District line platform Location C: Ealing Broadway - S stock viewed through 92 stock [Chris M] (click for a larger version) D - Battersea Power Station Location D - Battersea Power Station Station Location D: Battersea Power Station - corner of canopy [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Is the connection Northern Line termini? They are all single line terminus stations, except Ealing Broadway which has two terminus lines and one through running. So C is the odd one out. The connection is related to them being termini, but that's as close as you've got to the link we're looking for. Ealing Broadway is not the odd one out.
