West Hampstead Overground. The only place I have seen one of those shelters with the push-button sliding doors. So that means it is bound to be somewhere I haven't been... Bebbington! On the Line between Chester and Liverpool!

So my first guess will be: A could be Leytonstone B is Notting Hill Gate, C could be Elverson Road but I ain't sure. D could be Hampstead, but I ain't sure again and the dots are Brail for DLR?

They're not the two vehicles which are at the Launceston Steam Railway in Cornwall. Not sure what number they are, but they are certainly there.

So what about Glasgow? Their tube is deep-level, so far as I can make out. I'm not sure if Glasgow is deep level or not, I suspect not as most stations are acessible by a small flight of stairs or a short escalator.

Piccadilly line is done by Julie Berry. Never heard a colloquial name for that one though. Julie Berry can also be heard on the Merseyrail system. Took me a bit by surprise when I travelled on the Piccadilly earlier this year to hear her voice. Was half expecting her to tell me that "this train terminates at Liverpool Central"

I'll take a guess that it's the boat that travels across the Cromarty Firth to and from Nigg?

The other thing that springs to mind is that Wood Lane station moved to become White City, as did Osterley station. Something along those lines? I don't think the other two have moved, but it's worth a guess

Occasionally - I will have a go at someone littering or putting feet on seats Have a go on Miseryrail, Merseyrail and you'll find that nobody puts their feet on the seats. Why? They've hired rent-a-thug to patrol the trains and will prosecute persistent offenders. It works. The 'pool also has Metro News to cope with on a daily basis, but you try finding one on a train beyond lunchtime. Now true, LU is a bit bigger, but I'm sure a little bit could be done.

Was this an experimental layout? I think it was. Its unit 3176(?) and may have been the first to have the digital announcements on it. If I'm right, it was an experimental design as a sort of prototype for the Piccadilly refurbishment. Of course, I could be wrong!

It's definitely not Neasden I'm afraid, you can see the next station down which is Dollis Hill. It is looking towards Neasden though. Not to worry

Between you all, you have the locations, but not the links, nor the fifth location in the sequence. Answers: Station A: Neasden - Jubilee and Metropolitan Line trains viewed from 1938 stock train. [Chris M] I'm missing something here or could just be being thick. Photo A is given as Neasden, but yet is taken at Willesden Green. So how does the answer become Neasden? Unless of course Neasden has developed a centre reversing siding in the last week? Any ideas?

It's been a while since I've been there, but is that a Tyne Ferry in the picture? If it is, then it's one of the Shields, probably South Shields as I remember the North side being more built up than that.

It's looking towards the Richmond platforms as you've got the steps out to the yard to the left of the photo.

Another random guess. Holland Park is the odd one out as it's the only station in that area, all the others have other stations within the same area i.e. West Ruislip/Ruislip Gardens, Dagenham Heathway/Dagenham East and the various Heathrows. Whilst Holland Park stands alone?
