I wouldn't of noticed it if it wasn't for the fact that when trains were delayed, there was nothing telling us when the next train was coming. I suppose people see the new DMI & just look up at that now, dis-regarding that one (even though it doesn't work I always looked up at it)!?   ;D |

Great photo...memories, memories, memories. I would love to be reminded what all the destinations were. I assume they included ACTON TOWN, HAMMERSMITH, WEST KENSINGTON, HYDE PARK CORNER, KINGS CROSS, WOOD GREEN, ARNOS GROVE, OAKWOOD, COCKFOSTERS and SPECIAL? At the time that I would have looke at that descriver in the Seventies, Wood Green was a regular terminal point.
