Background: sb/up line approaching South Kenton I was'nt all that convinced when I suggested it but I think it is more likely to be the environs of Dagenham East looking west.

is the main image the pedestrian subway over the disused Tower Hill station, and the inset from the cab of a Picc train towards Hammersmith on the 4-track section between there & Acton Town.

The main image is not at a disused station, and the background is not on the Picc.

The background would appear to be district/H&C and C2C shared trackbed somewhere between West Ham and Barking... or near there.

So we've got a pair of main line tracks to the left and presumably 4 LU tracks from what I can see, I'd say it's on the Met between Preston Road and Northwick Park.

Complete guess. Is the background Stonebridge Park?

Going by the stand-alone Oyster Reader I'm thinking the main image is something to do with either NR or Overground. Moorgate, or Krapy Rubsnif?

So it's somewhere on the District and H&C line, it actually looks really similar to a pic used in a quiz a few months back. Between Plaistow and Upton Park looking west?

OK, so it's not Old Street nor Moorgate. Finsbury Park seemed to get the quizmaster's attention, so I'll go for that.
I can't do any more precise than that, the only time I've been there was to change trains and take a picture of the line diagram with Aldwych on it.
