The station, which opened as part of a new motor train service between ***** and ********, is reputed to be haunted by the ghost of a ganger killed on the level crossing in 1953.
(Just wondered if it is a well known railway legend Tiny clue - more than 80 miles from London.

There was one up this way near Louth in the 1950's but I'm fairly sure it's all disused now.
