Clearly a multi spad area! Where could it be? Queens Park?

+2/3 Wembley Park Platform 4. If it is Wembley Park, then signal MG27 entering Neasden depot from the Wembley Park end has a notice by it "Stop. Proceed when signal clears". I thought this was rule (1) for all drivers approaching all danger signals MG27 was a multi-spad signal (I think the regular incidence of this has decreased slightly.) An auto signal on the southbound Met used to be the most common cause - it being mis-read as the signal leading into the depot. Yes, yes I know, you don't generally get a straight green to run into a depot...

... which is why I assume that signals A740 and R740 (on the westbound adjacent to Ruislip siding) extinguish when trains enter the siding - to prevent such trains misreading a 'green' and ploughing into the end of the siding. I am sure there are other locations (Marble Arch WB Central advance starter under the old signalling also used to be one such, if I remember correctly).

Wembley Park SB Jubilee Platform. Missing signal numbers are JG16 and MG27. That's as good a description as you could hope for! Wembley Park - sign to t/ops at the southern end of the southbound Jubilee Line platform *Click image for a larger version*
