The Northern Line is a northbound/southbound railway and the view at Brent Cross is looking southbound, not westbound. According to my London Street atlas, the view at this point is actually looking south-east.

Indeed, the westbound is my fault. I cocked up when creating the answer file and included the description for station C in the middle of station B's description and obviously didn't clean up my mess fully! Sorry.

Station C - on an East/West line somewhere, I'm thinking the Westbound platform?

Station C - on an East/West line somewhere, I'm thinking the Westbound platform? I can't imagine what the cause of this sudden burst of inspiration was ;D , but you're correct!

Station C looks to me like either wanstead park or Leytonstone high rd. have only been through them in recent years so can't decide but I side towards Wanstead Park. Station A looks like NLL but that transmitter in the background is confusing me. I'd hazard round Brondesbury or Hampstead Heath but can't pin it down

A) is Crouch Hill on the Barking-Gospel Oak line. The transmitter in the background is Ally-Pally.

A is Kentish Town West, looking north with long lens. Transmitter tower is at TQ284873, by Highgate Cemetery.
