Just after 10am this morning....

9 trains nine pull into harrow on the northbound.

Not one went to Watford. Sure some went down the local lines, but the croxley and watford punters? Well they wait wait and wait.

And no one gives a @@@@. disgusting. roll on the croxley link, they wont threat watford customers this way for much longer.

I personally feel that for the majority of the time, that Watford customers have a better service than Uxbridge customers. So many times you see two Watford's train arrive and depart from Harrow, before a Uxbridge train comes in- with the platform fully packed. Considering that there are more Uxbridge customers if you count all the passengers going through the Uxbridge branch stations than compared to watford line route stations...

Consider today, 6.30am, a 10minute wait for an train on the Uxbridge branch for it only to terminate at Harrow on the Hill...

But when there's disruption, Uxbridge customers have the Piccadilly to fall back on, Watford passengers just have to hope and pray.

Not from HOTH, and unlike the Watford services which doesn't have this disruption there's usally a long wait to get into Rayners Lane 50% of the time due to Picadilly Trains detraining.

Simon, I wonder if you are unlucky or, perhaps you are using too small a sample. I live on the Uxbridge branch and, service problems excepted, rarely have to wait long for a train. A look at the new timetable shows an increased in frequency from an average of every ten minutes to eight minutes whereas, as we all know, the guys at the end of the northern branch of the Met are being stuffed big time.

When theres disruption the pic beyond rayners is the first thing to be abandoned! Used to spend a lot of time at Ruislip station, and every single time the pic was doing something other than what it claims to do.

I don't know why people pretend its anything other than a buisness run to managements convenience now. I heard a rumour that it was a nice little system once...

Speaking as a Watford punter, I think you'll find they will. Watford is at the bottom of the pecking order in the Met line grand plan and will always be given the worst level of service :-)

Hm. Yet TfL were pushing the CRL as a lynchpin of their service...
Admittedly, following the Bletchley derailment and subsequent disruption, having another route down from Watford Junction is a real life saver. I recall the storms in 2007 which closed the lines near Willesden - I had to guide a group of north-bound people from the Met station across Watford to the Junction to pick up the services that were turning back there.
