The basic setup remains unchanged otherwise.

It's a computer system that displays and follows train number and description, displaying it to the control staff on a computer screen. Prior to this the signallers relied on train description only.

Did someone say"before he starts the engine!!! ? There's plenty of things to do before you can start the engine on a tube train!

Thanks for posting that. There's several faces I recognised, plus a young God who's sadly no longer with us.

Interesting video. I see a lot of the trains shown were Unrefurbished including the C stock! Must have thrown in some old footage as the C stock was in corporate livery by then!

Did someone say"before he starts the engine!!! ? There's plenty of things to do before you can start the engine on a tube train! Such as fitting an engine? I was more intrigued by the fact that all of the 73TS seen were unrefurbished, apart from one shot of a refurbished train entering a platform. I was rather alarmed by the amount the track moved in some shots, I will admit, and am glad that the tube is currently financed and maintained as well as it is.

If you want to see track move up and down, then you should have had a sufficiently close view of the pointwork at Neasden when A stocks ( and their predecessors )came crashing southbound over the junction at 60 mph plus.
