How Long Is Embankment's Lower Access Tunnel?

Does anyone know the length of the Lower Access Tunnel at Embankment? This is the long straight tunnel between the Bakerloo Line and the northbound Northern Line.


I read somewhere that it was 300 metres but am not sure that this is correct. It does not seem to be *that* long!

I walked along it relatively recently - it is effectively the diagonal length from the bottom right-hand corner to top left-hand plinth of Trafalgar square. It used to go slightly farther under National Gallery but has since been filled.

That sounds like you're thinking of Charing Cross station, not Embankment?
