A is on the approach to Fenchurch Street more then likely taken from a DLR train I'll agree, but say that it's taken from near the end of the platform at Tower Gateway rather than from a train (Those big handrails!)

You have A, C and D. You do not have: B, the link, the odd-one-out, or why it was chosen for 14 July.
None of the images are modified, so look at the first post if you want to see them again:
Location A: Tower Gateway - Fenchurch Street tracks from arrivals platform [Chris M]
Location B: ?
Location C: Borough - mirror in angle of stairs to SB platform viewed from bottom of stairs [Chris M]
Location D: Blackfriars - column on westbound platform [Chris M]

These are all the cloest station to a current or former prison
Marshalsea Prison - Borough Fleet Prison - Blackfriars Tower of London - Tower Gateway
Bonus answer: Today is Bastille day
