Inset on the right in A is the fighter control ops room at Uxbridge. Inset on the left looks primitive enough to be Luton Airport.

Well that was a rather disappointing effort. You only have one location and one inset. Location A: Fairlop - bench on inner rail platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Inset A2: Plotting table, Battle of Britain bunker, RAF Uxbridge [ caravelle] (click for a larger version) You get the clue version for Inset A1 as arun attempted it: (click for a larger version) As there were no guesses for locations B, C or D, insets D1 or D2, the link and the odd one out you don't get any help with them just yet.

C has a bit of an Edgware Road (SSR) feel to it.

D2 is taken from the apron / Runway of Croydon Airport, the black pylon is the war memorial... Croydon town hall clock tower is in the background.

You have the lot now for D. You have the right line for B but not the station. C is not on the SSR. Location D: Uxbridge - cigarette machine [ londonstuff] (click for a larger version) Inset D1: Airport House, Croydon - former Croydon Airport terminal building [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Inset D2: Battle of Britain memorial, Croydon [Chris M] (click for a larger version)
