Inset 3 is Elgin Cathedral. Took me longer to find than expected, as I thought it might be an ruined Abbey. I expect someone with more architectural knowledge than me will chime in here!

Inset 1: Liverpool Cathedral, from Hope Street Some years ago? Looks very different on Google maps.

Inset 1: Liverpool Cathedral, from Hope Street Some years ago? Looks very different on Google maps. Au contraire, that's probably in the last year as the building on the left is the recently redeveloped everyman theatre that reopened last year.

You have the right country but the wrong island. Last time I looked, Lundy was an English island...

This is one of those images where I had to check my collection to see if was mine before (refraining from) guessing. Intentionally or otherwise, there is also of course a link (and an odd one out) between the three locations in the insets.

Ah, why not - the simple one would be countries (or kingdoms/principalities) of the UK, odd one out N. Ireland!

Yep, I selected for geographical diversity with these insets. I've never been to Ireland or Northern Ireland, and nobody has sent me any photos from there to use if they have.

I was actually thinking of Cathedrals - Ramsey Island being just off St David's in Wales. And Elgin (the odd one out) being a ruin while Liverpool and St David's are very much alive. So, Chris, you were cleverer than you realised in your selection!
