Whether you wanted one or not, I've created a bonus quiz for those in the pub at the Acton meet and those not joining us can play too. There are 30 single part images of various signs around the TfL network, some have been modified to remove station names and anything just as obvious but all the modifications are clearly visible black or white blocks and most are unmodified completely. For those playing online 5 photos will be released automatically every hour starting at 1pm, the thread wont automatically update so you will have to remember to look back and you might have to refresh. The quiz in the pub will start whenever there are several of us there and will be less strictly timed. No answers will be given online until Sunday, but will be given in the pub when people get them. If any remain unanswered online by Monday I'll figure out some clues. 01 - 1:00pm (click for a larger version) 02 - 1:00pm (click for a larger version) 03 - 1:00pm (click for a larger version) 04 - 1:00pm (click for a larger version) 05 - 1:00pm (click for a larger version) 06 - 2:00pm (click for a larger version) 07 - 2:00pm (click for a larger version) 08 - 2:00pm (click for a larger version) 09 - 2:00pm (click for a larger version) 10 - 2:00pm (click for a larger version) 11 - 3:00pm (click for a larger version) 12 - 3:00pm (click for a larger version) 13 - 3:00pm (click for a larger version) 14 - 3:00pm (click for a larger version) 15 - 3:00pm (click for a larger version) 16 - 4:00pm (click for a larger version) 17 - 4:00pm (click for a larger version) 18 - 4:00pm (click for a larger version) 19 - 4:00pm (click for a larger version) 20 - 4:00pm (click for a larger version) 21 - 5:00pm (click for a larger version) 22 - 5:00pm (click for a larger version) 23 - 5:00pm (click for a larger version) 24 - 5:00pm (click for a larger version) 25 - 5:00pm (click for a larger version) 26 - 6:00pm (click for a larger version) 27 - 6:00pm (click for a larger version) 28 - 6:00pm (click for a larger version) 29 - 6:00pm (click for a larger version) 30 - 6:00pm (click for a larger version)

28 Split signage for Met and H&C/Circle platforms surely has to be Baker Street?

13 I think is more likely Warren Street Ah yes, because Euston doesn't have separate Victoria Line platforms. I'm sure I've seen a similar sign at Euston though somewhen.

Is there a limit to how many one person can guess? I think 25 has to be on the Hammersmith branch of the H&C/Circle, more specifically Goldhawk Road

09 - Embankment - Kiosk sign on eastbound SSR platform (click for a larger version) 8 is in the passageway leading from St Pancras International to Kings Cross St Pancras Underground (click for a larger version 28 Split signage for Met and H&C/Circle platforms surely has to be Baker Street? (click for a larger version) 13 I think is more likely Warren Street 13 + Warren Street - no down escalator to Victoria Line (click for a larger version) 11 is making me think Canning Town but I'm less confident? 11 + Canning Town - closed exit to bow creek (click for a larger version) Is there a limit to how many one person can guess? No 25 - Shepherds Bush Market? I think 25 has to be on the Hammersmith branch of the H&C/Circle, more specifically Goldhawk Road 25 - Goldhawk Road - OPO monitor no longer in use on eastbound (click for a larger version) 30 is definitely Langdon Park DLR 30 - Langdon Park - station sign above entrance to southbound platform (click for a larger version) 24 + Elm Park - waiting room opening times sign (click for a larger version) 02 - Uxbridge - ramp to bus station (click for a larger version) 04 - Camden Road - bottom of lift to eastbound (click for a larger version) 12 - looks like somewhere on the newer parts of the Overground so, Dalston Junction? 12 - Dalston Junction - south entrance out of bounds to LOROL staff (May 2010) (click for a larger version) 16 - Hammersmith Circle & HC Lines? 16 - Hammersmith (H&C) - next train departs from Platform 3 (click for a larger version) Still to get therefore: 01, 03, 05, 06, 07, 10, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27 and 29, none of which have had any attempts at all.

Well, to keep things moving:
01 - looks desperately familiar, but I'm struggling to see why it says "to Underground" rather than to a specific line or lines. The tiling reminds me of Leicester Sq, so I'll go with that.
03 - the dull green paint conjures up feelings of Edgware Road (SSL).
06 - somewhere on the central bit of the District, with lots of duck tape in evidence - Mansion House?
10 - somewhere up the top end of the Met - random stab at Moor Park.
14 - can't help feeling I've seen this, so Liverpool Street.
21 - JLE with an interchange - London Bridge?
26 - there is a door at the end of the Euston Sq platforms in just this insipid shade of pink, but I don't think it's there, so I'll try Great Portland Street.

01 isn't Leicester Square. Clues will come tomorrow if necessary.
03 isn't Edgware Road (SSL)
06 not Mansion House
10 try again
14 is not Liverpool Street. I'm unable to say whether you've seen it or not though.
21 not London Bridge
26 sorry, this isn't Great Portland Street, but I agree regarding the shade of pink!

01 - looks desperately familiar, but I'm struggling to see why it says "to Underground" rather than to a specific line or lines. The tiling reminds me of Leicester Sq, so I'll go with that. This makes me think it must be somewhere with National Rail/Overground but I haven't got any idea to go with that

No 1 - A quick Google suggests it's Elephant & Castle (Northern Line) No 7 - I've narrowed it down to seven possibilities, and of those I think it might be Sydenham.

If 7 is not Sydenham, I'll go for New Cross 10. Not many island platforms on the Met, still fewer where the platforms have to be identified by number - but I think it's Watford 19 - only two possibilities, and of those I think it's Westminster
