In early 2007 I created 28 questions for a month's worth of daily quiz questions. People seemed to enjoy them and asked for them to continue, and continue I have done. Today we reach question 4500 and your task is to identify the four locations and the link between them. Location A: (click for a larger version) Location B: (click for a larger version) Location C: (click for a larger version) Location D: (click for a larger version)

Thank you Chris M , I’ve enjoyed the quiz from both sides and have seen all the work you put into each days quiz first hand.

Answer: @aetearlscourt has A Location A: Between Becontree and Upney - view east from Upney Lane [Chris M] (click for a larger version) B is Windmill Bridge junction. I think C is near Bury Street junction. xplaistow has C but B isn’t what’s on the answer sheet Location C: Between Bury Street Junction and Southbury - view south from footbridge between Chatsworth Road and St. Edmund's Road [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Clue: Location B: (click for a larger version)

Let's try saying B is between Clapton and Tottenham Hale.

B isn’t what’s on the answer sheet That's my fault for giving an ambiguous answer. The actual junction is Gloucester Road junction (between Norwood Junction and West Croydon) which is one of the many individual junctions making up the Windmill Bridge complex.

For B The line in the middle is the slow up / down from Selhurst to West Croydon To the left the embankment carries the Fast Line from Selhurst to East Croydon, The Embankment to the right is the Up/Down slow line from Selhurst to East Croydon. The train is an L.O. train travelling from West Croydon to Norwood Junction.

I've just noticed the link: All these places are on the Zone 4/5 boundary. Very appropriate for question 4,500!
